The Clyst ("Clear Water") Valley is in the midst of a rapidly growing population east of Exeter, including the new town of Cranbrook.
Whilst some parts of it are well known, for example the National Trust's Killerton House & Park, others are inaccessible and await discovery.
Nine partners have joined forces to help people to explore, record and restore the heritage of trees in the Clyst Valley.
They will help to define an ambitious 25 year vision for the fledgling Clyst Valley Regional Park.
